This book intend to facilitate Japanese studies as well as mutual exchanges between researchers/specialists of and institutions/organizations of Japanese studies. The Sejong Institute Japan Center considered year 2005 a very meaningful year to start this survey it marked the 40th anniversary of Korea-Japan Agreement and the 60th anniversary of Liberation Day of Korea, and proceeded with relevant surveys and interviews for eight months. This book is also meaningful in a sense that it creates sharable data worldwide and that it attempts to investigate into overall humanity and social science areas of Japanese studies in Korea for the very first time. |
